Christian McDowell

My name is Christian Michael McDowell.

​

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and my experience is rooted in marketing, communications, and community programs. As an athlete for most of my life, I’ve learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and performing under pressure. Those lessons have helped shape who I am, both on and off the field.

Since graduating from Westminster College, I’ve been gaining experience in business development at a Pittsburgh-based industrial AI startup while continuing to work in social media, digital content, and community engagement.

​

I’ve also led social media and digital content strategy for Penn State’s Readiness Institute Summer Discovery Program, helped coordinate community programs for nonprofits like The Best of the Batch Foundation and The Caileigh Lynn McDowell Foundation, and worked on events that have brought together families from across the Pittsburgh area.

I like doing work that matters, especially when it brings people together or helps tell a story worth sharing.
